Terms of Use
The short version: be honest, be kind, and always double-check a deal with the shop. Last updated: October 2026.
1. Who can use UniLess
UniLess is free and made for university students. To create an account you must be 16 or older and sign up with your university email address (ending in .ac.uk or .edu).
Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
2. Deals can change
We check every listing, but shops set their own discounts and can change or end them at any time without telling us.
Always check with the shop before you buy. UniLess isn't responsible if a shop won't honour a deal, and we don't sell anything ourselves.
3. Suggestions and reports
When you suggest a spot or report a problem, only send information that's true and that you're allowed to share.
No fake listings, spam, ads, or offensive content. We review every suggestion before it appears and may edit or decline it.
4. Fair use
Don't try to break, overload, scrape or copy the app, and don't use it to harm anyone.
We can suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
5. Maps and other services
Maps, photos and reviews come from Google Maps and remain theirs. Brand names and logos belong to their owners; showing them doesn't mean they endorse UniLess.
6. No guarantees
UniLess is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Nothing here limits rights you have under UK consumer law.
7. Your account and data
You can delete your account any time from the Account page. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as UniLess grows. If the changes are important, we'll let you know in the app. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
